The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Alright, before I type all this out; if you don't want to follow me and you're sick of me moving, THE DON'T OH MY GOD. I hate the complaints I get. Honestly, do you not have anything better to do? Just remove me and close the tab, it won't affect me in anyway LOL. Anyway, let's cut to the chase.

Why Am I Moving?
Let me put it as simple as I can. Honestly? I'm not happy here. My username means doubtful LOL. Wow, I should totally commission her, she's totally reliable NO. I guess I'm not happy in general. I'm not happy with who I am. [rant, prepare yourself] I'm overweight, a huge procrastinator, and my grades are falling. I have no motivation, and I was to start fresh and new. All day at school today, I worked on new ideas to make myself happy with what I'm going to be become. I'm excited! I want to be someone new. Not entirely, but my bad habits need to go. And I am GONG TO CHANGE. A new year, a new me! If you want to come along for the ride, then continue reading.
